Composite Cladding Installation Guide
1) When installing to a non timber wall, eg. brick, metal, etc. Install battens securely to the wall at a distance of no more than 500mm apart.
2) Please select the installation order in accordance with the wall’s shape. We suggest to install from the corner of wall, in most circumstances. This provides a neater finish at the end of the installation.

3) Firstly, fasten the external edge banding on the joist/corner.
4) After you have installed the external edge banding, add the standard cladding board.
5) Repeat this process until you reach the end of the wall. Allow space for the strip piece and edge banding.
6) Install the corner banding first, leaving space for the strip piece to wedge into place.
7) After assembling of the corner edge banding, then install the strip.
8) After the installation of external edge banding on one side, then install the external edge banding on the other side.
9) Continue to install the cladding boards until the completion of the wall.
10) Go on to install the cladding panels for another wall. Repeat the steps above until your composite cladding wall is complete.

What is Composite Cladding made from?
Composite Cladding is crafted from a blend of wood fibres and recycled plastics, resulting in the appearance of timber with enhanced durability and minimal upkeep
What is the life span of composite Cladding?
Our composite cladding provides a 10 year, structural warranty. With proper care and maintenance, your composite cladding can endure longer.
Is composite cladding more expensive than timber or traditional cladding?
As traditional cladding products vary greatly in cost, composite cladding offers a high end look, yet affordable option.
Does composite cladding fade?
High-quality composite cladding is designed to resist UV fading. However, slight fading may occur over time, but it won’t affect its performance. Depending on the particular model or colour, you may notice some slight fading as the composite cladding climatises to your particular environment. This is typically 5-8%. For more information, please contact our sales team.
Can composite decking be installed onto colour bond fencing?
Composite cladding is best to be installed onto a secure backing or frame. Installing direct to colour bond fencing does not allow for adequate fixings to be applied. We recommend first attaching frame work or cement sheeting to the fence to allow for a flat and even surface which will also provide adequate fixings to be applied
Does composite cladding need be painted or stained?
No, the beauty of composite cladding is that it doesn’t need painting or staining. It retains its colour naturally, and applying paints or stains may void warranties.
How do I maintain composite cladding?
Routine maintenance includes clearing away debris and utilizing warm, clean water. Steer clear of abrasive chemicals or high-pressure cleaners that may cause surface damage. You may use light cleaning chemicals to remove stubborn messes. Typically, for outdoor use, rain will do most of the cleaning for you.
Is composite cladding hard to install?
Not at all! Composite decking and cladding is designed to be installed using the same tools as required for a timber decking. We do recommend using a fine tooth composite blade to allow for cleaner cuts.
